Salma Mohamed - Parent Governor

Mrs Salma Mohamed (Parent Governor) has two children that currently attend Park Lane Primary School.  Salma believes that children have two main educators in their lives – their parents and their teachers; she believes that schools and parents have crucial roles to play and the impact is greater if they work in partnership.  This is the reason she decided to become a parent governor along with the opportunity to contribute to a governing body that makes positive changes in the school environment.

Salma is currently the chair of a resident association; she is a community worker and partnership member of Wembley Central Big Local.  Salma has over 10 years of experience in the housing sector.  In April 2021, she achieved a level 5 Higher National Diploma in Business: Operations Management during the Covid19 pandemic and gave birth to her third child.  She is currently undertaking a BA in Operations Management and hopes to obtain a Master’s degree next year.
