  • PGL

    Mon 07 Jul 2025

Thirty of our year 6 pupils attended a residential stay at PGL, from Monday 30th June to Friday 4th July; they had a hugely enjoyable and rewarding experience.  They worked independently, and have taken part in numerous activities to build their confidence, promote team-building and problem solving skills. We are hugely proud of these children, who, from all reports, demonstrated excellent behaviour and have created lasting memories that they will reflect on for many years to come.

  • ART Week

    Mon 07 Jul 2025

From Monday 30th June until Friday 4th July, we celebrated Magnificent ART Week at Park Lane Primary SchoolThe week was organised by our resident artist Miss Fedii; each class learnt about a different artist’s life and work.  The children were then encouraged to replicate their techniques.

Year 3 was inspired by Vincent Van Gogh; they created a gigantic Starry Night display using 2m x 1m yarn.
Reception learnt about Japanese artist, Yayoi Kusama; they created very colourful clothes using polka dots techniques.

Earlier this week, Yasmin in 5Y received the news that she had won the Grey & Co. Summer Window Display competition. Pictured here with Art Teacher, Miss Fedii and Abigail Grey of Grey & Co., Yasmin holds her winning entry, which will be featured on the estate agent’s shop front, located on Wembley High Road.
