• International Evening

  The Park Lane Primary School annual International Evening, which took place on Friday 27th June, was without a doubt the hightlight of the school year so far.  The children and staff performed various colourful displays of dance, poetry, music and song, reflecting the many and varied cultural backgrounds that make-up our school population.  The audience was overwhelmed by the talent on display and during the fashion show, at the end of the concert, everyone was on their feet in support of all of the children and staff representing their countries of birth.

  Following the concert, parents and pupils joined staff in the dining hall where we sampled food items and national dishes from all over the world.

  

• Releasing butterflies

  Our reception pupils have been learning about the life cycle of bugs, specifically butterflies.  They have watched the 4 stages of a butterfly’s life, starting with the egg, then caterpillar, chrysalis and adult butterfly.  On Monday 30th June, the children released their butterflies into the Butterfly Garden and watched as they safely flew away.

   

  

• Exploring Transportation

  This term, Nursery has been learning about different means of transportation. To bring our learning to life, we took an exciting trip to London Transport Museum on Thursday 26th June. We explored historic vehicles, climbed aboard buses and trains, and discovered how travel has changed over time. The children especially loved pretending to drive the red double-decker bus.
  To celebrate and consolidate our learning, Nursery proudly presented their first assembly on Friday 20th June, which is was all about transportation! They sang songs, shared facts, and spoke confidently in front of an audience. We are proud of their hard work!

  

• Polish School Celebrate 10th Anniversary

  Members of staff represented Park Lane Primary School when they joined the Polish Village School on Saturday 7th June, to celebrated the school's 10th Anniversary.  The Polish Village School has been a Saturday resident at Park Lane, for the last 5 years.  Miss Lewis, Mrs. Rahnama and Mr. Martin were entertained by traditional Polish singers and dancers, savoured the flavours of Polish cooking before joining the dance floor to celebrate with local members of the Polish community.  Polish school founders: (from left to right) Malgorzata Sedzielewska, Anna Budzinska, Joanna Szyszkowska, Beata Wypychowicz and Edyta Murisho, were recognised by their colleagues for their dedication and commitment to the school.  Congratulating all of the staff and pupils of the Polish Village School.

• Head Teacher's Coffee Morning - March 18, 2025

  We are pleased to inform you that Miss Lewis will be hosting a Head Teacher's Coffee Morning on Tuesday, 18th March 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the Main School Hall at Park Lane Primary School.

  
  During this session, our school nurse will be present to discuss the overall wellbeing of children, covering important topics such as asthma and general childhood illnesses.

  
  A poster with further details is displayed outside the office and also check attachement for your reference.

  
  This is a wonderful opportunity for parents to attend, ask any questions, and learn more about supporting your child's health and wellbeing.

  We would like to inform you that if have a child born between 01 September 2021 and 31 August 2022, they will be able to start Nursery at Park Lane School in September 2025. Our Nursery admission is now open.
