Year 6 Visit Central London
Our year 6 pupils and staff visited the city of London on Monday 27th June. This educational trip afforded the children an opportunity to experience famous landmarks within central London and to develop a better understanding of the history of their surroundings. The visit also supported the year 6 class value of Responsibility, as well as being part of the 50 things year 6 should accomplish before leaving Park Lane Primary School.
Children enjoyed visiting the London Eye, which provides stunning views of our capital's skyline, before joining a river boat cruise along the Thames.
Some of the landmarks we observed included: The Tower of London, The Globe Theatre; Houses of Parliament and Big Ben.
