  • Year 6 Production

    Fri 21 Jul 2023

Our amazingly talented year 6 pupils have been rehearsing their lines, creating wonderfully imaginative sets and colourful costumes in preparation for their production.  All of their efforts were not in vain when they performed for the entire school population on the morning of Monday 17th July, and then again for their families and friends in the evening.  When the curtain went down at the end of both performances, the audience was delighted.

  • Year 6 attend a residential stay at PGL Marchants Hill

    Wed 12 Jul 2023

What a week for the Park Lane pupils who ventured into the Surrey countryside for their year 6 residential stay from 3rd to 7th July, at PGL Marchants Hill.

After the initial settling in was complete, it was off to the playing field where our fantastic PGL guide Ben, took the children through some ice breaking challenges to get them in the mood for the week ahead.

Over the next few days the pupils got to experience a range of different activities from rock climbing to obstacle courses, as well as archery and rifle shooting. The evenings were spent either around the camp fire singing songs, showing off their sports skills on the playing field or dancing the night away at the disco.

The PGL staff were very impressed with the enthusiasm each child showed and their overall behaviour.

The pupils would like to thank their parents/carers for their support and the warm welcome home they received on their return.

  • Annual Summer Fair

    Wed 05 Jul 2023

Park Lane Primary School held its Annual Summer Fair on Wednesday 5th July.  Stalls were set up in the playground along with a Frozen themed bouncy castle and the Metropolitan Police, who were on hand to have their photos taken with our pupils.  Pupils and visitors had the opportunity to have their nails and faces painted; henna patterns of unique and artistic design were drawn on delighted customers; children laughing and dancing in the sunshine whilst eating sweet treats... a wonderful afternoon!

  • International Evening 2023

    Mon 03 Jul 2023

International Evening is usually the highlight of the school calendar, and this year's event was truly spectacular.  Held on Friday 30th June, our pupils, whose awe inspiring talent entertained families and friends, showcased the many and varied cultural backgrounds of the school population.  A special mention to Serine and Ismail who hosted the event.

Following the concert, everyone gathered in the dinner hall where they were able to sample food from around the world in the company of pupils and staff from Park Lane Primary School.
