Tim Jones - Chair of Governors

Tim Jones (Community Governor) has been a Head teacher in Newham, and more recently in Brent, for many years before retiring in 2010. He is now the Chair of Governors at Park Lane Primary School. From 2010 until 2014, he was an elected Councillor on Kensington & Chelsea Council, and served on the Family and Children’s Scrutiny Committee and the Corporate Parenting Panel, which dealt with the Council’s responsibility for looked after children. Tim is an Associate of the Institute of Education, working part time on the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH). He is also Chair of Oxford Gardens Primary School in Kensington and Chelsea, and Trustee of the Portobello Dance School.
